Light The Dark 2025

We live in a world that is only getting darker and darker, but the darkness has not overcome the light, nor will it. With Light The Dark, we want to do what we can to light up the darkness.

Light The Dark is a new metal festival with a christian foundation. This means that, for two days, you will get to meet some of biggest bands in the christian metal scene, bands associated with the genre, as well as new young hungry bands that are ready to spread light in the darkness.

Light The Dark is an independent continuation of the metal festival Bobfest, which was held from 1999 to 2005 and which made a temporary reunion in March 2024. If you visited Bobfest any year, parts of the arrangement will therefore feel familiar.

Alongside the festival at Arbis, Light The Dark will also arrange a service with worship, teaching, communion and intercession in one of Norrköping's churches. There will also be some interesting lectures. The main speaker at these gatherings will be the metal pastor Bob Beeman from America.
